This policy explains how Glass Garden Aquatics Ltd (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use our website or get in touch with us. Glass Garden Aquatics is the data controller responsible for your information.
What we collect
When you complete our contact form we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number (if given) and the content of your message. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not track your browsing.
How we use it
We use these details solely to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to arrange your visit or discuss an aquascaping project. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us. We do not sell your data or use it for marketing without your consent.
Who has access
Your message is delivered to us by email through our email provider, Resend (privacy policy), and our website is hosted by Vercel (privacy policy). These providers process data on our behalf under their own safeguards. We do not share your information with anyone else.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for no longer than necessary — typically 12 months from the date your query is resolved — after which they are deleted, unless you become a customer and we need to retain records for legal or accounting reasons.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to request a copy of it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe we have mishandled your data. We are registered with the ICO under number ZB787295.
